Studio Valle de Valle reimagines a historic Lenox Hill townhouse with architectural scale and a quietly radical approach to mid-century curation. Honeyed oak paneling framing double-height windows sets a warm, tailored foundation for an iconic, low-slung seating arrangement. The space is anchored by a generous Mario Bellini Camaleonda modular sofa in off-white upholstery for B&B Italia (1970), set over a plush golden-shag carpet. At its center, a pair of Gianfranco Frattini Kyoto lattice coffee tables for Pierluigi Ghianda (1974) bring Japanese-influenced architectural joinery, perfectly complemented by an iconic, polka-dotted Isamu Noguchi Akari UF3-Q floor light (1984) drawing the eye toward the soaring glass above.
In another corner of the Lenox Hill townhouse, Studio Valle de Valle plays with tactile rich textures against refined Parisian-style molding. A cozy, rounded Jean Royère Oeuf chair in bouclé brings iconic mid-century warmth alongside a plush velvet sofa.
