A standout example of Mid-Century Modern design, this vintage sculptural Oceanic nightstand by Pulaski Furniture Corporation captures the adventurous spirit of 1960s American style. Part of the iconic Oceanic series this piece feels as much like art as it does functional furniture. The Oceanic Collection is often misattributed to Witco and may now be best known for being in Don Draper's office on the hit show "Mad Men." Crafted in the United States from rich walnut with expressive resin-accented sculptural details, this nightstand evokes a sense of mid-century whimsy and sophistication. The textured drawer front and organic lines deliver a bold visual impact, while the warm walnut tones bring depth and character to any bedroom or living space. This example features a solid walnut case with an open nightstand compartment, black enameled top, and a heavily sculpted single drawer. Though its design is rooted in the 1960s, the piece remains highly relevant in contemporary interiors, offering a unique focal point that bridges vintage charm with modern sensibilities. It’s in good vintage condition, showing gentle signs of age and use that attest to its authenticity and storied past.
