This vintage Austrian Bauhaus desk lamp in turquoise was designed by Christian Dell for Koranda in Vienna during the 1930s and represents a striking example of early modernist lighting design. Its clean geometric lines, balanced proportions, and vivid lacquered metal finish reflect the Bauhaus principle of uniting function with aesthetic clarity. The adjustable shade allows for precise task lighting, while the sculptural silhouette maintains visual elegance from every angle. As a leading figure of the Bauhaus metal workshop, Christian Dell created designs that remain highly collectible for their technical precision and timeless appeal. This rare turquoise version adds a bold yet sophisticated accent to desks, studios, or interiors centered around authentic modernist heritage.
