Discover a sculptural lighting masterpiece with this tripod floor lamp by Artiforte, crafted in the Netherlands during the 1950s and distinguished by its elegant combination of rosewood veneer and nickel. A signature piece from one of the Netherlands’ celebrated mid-century lighting makers, this lamp unites architectural poise with natural warmth, the rosewood veneer wrap adds tactile depth and visual richness, while the nickel elements lend a refined, modernist gleam. The lamp’s synthetic shade features a finely textured surface that complements the organic warmth of the wood and the metallic clarity of the base, creating an interplay of materials that appeals to both classic and contemporary interiors. Designed to be as much a sculptural object as a source of ambient illumination, this Artiforte piece reflects the thoughtful craftsmanship and aesthetic restraint of post-war European design. Despite minor wear on the shade and nickel, consistent with age but not detracting from its presence, the lamp remains in excellent working order, its original charm intact. Bring this Dutch mid-century classic into a curated space where form and function converge.
