The Fantasma floor lamp, designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos in the 1960s, is an iconic piece of Italian lighting design. Defined by its ethereal, cocoon-like form, the lamp is crafted from a resin-coated structure that softly diffuses light across its entire surface. The sculptural silhouette appears almost weightless, transforming illumination into a tactile and atmospheric presence. When lit, it emits a warm, even glow that enhances the texture and depth of the material, creating a calm and immersive ambiance. Rooted in experimental design and material innovation, the Fantasma stands as both a functional light source and a collectible statement piece, perfectly suited to modern and design-focused interiors.
