This refined Italian table lamp designed by Oscar Torlasco exemplifies the elegance of 1950s Italian Mid-Century Modern lighting. Characterized by its sculptural brass structure and solid marble base, the design reflects Torlasco’s distinctive ability to merge functional lighting with architectural form. The warm brass surface provides a subtle visual contrast to the marble’s natural veining, creating a composition that is both balanced and visually engaging. Produced in Italy, the lamp embodies the restrained sophistication and material richness that defined post-war Italian design. Its clean lines and timeless proportions allow it to integrate effortlessly into modern, minimalist, or classic interiors. Presented in good condition, the piece shows wear consistent with age and use, preserving the authentic character and patina expected from a period example of Italian modernist lighting.
