Designed in the 1960s by Svend Middelboe for Danish manufacturer Nordisk Solar, the Verona pendant is a masterclass in Scandinavian lighting, sculptural, precise, and beautifully atmospheric. This medium-size version features the iconic construction of seven layered aluminium shades, finished in off-white lacquer with a grey interior that enhances the lamp’s soft, controlled glow. The result is a pendant that remains an eye-catcher whether lit or unlit, offering a refined silhouette that complements mid-century, minimalist, and contemporary interiors alike.
Made in Denmark and marked with the manufacturer’s logo, this piece is an authentic example of Danish modern design with strong collectability. We sourced it from a hotel in Denmark, adding a subtle layer of provenance and history. Offered in good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age. Professionally cleaned in our workshop and fitted with a fresh white fabric cord, it’s ready to elevate a dining area, living space, or boutique hospitality setting.
