This Space-Age floor lamp by Cosack is a bold expression of 1970s German lighting design, reflecting the era’s fascination with futuristic forms and innovative materials. Produced in Germany by Cosack Leuchten, the lamp combines a metal structure with plastic elements, resulting in a striking silhouette that feels both sculptural and functional. Its design emphasizes clean curves and a visually dynamic form, characteristic of Space-Age aesthetics that emerged during the late 20th century. Cosack was known for pushing the boundaries of conventional lighting through experimental shapes and modern materials, and this piece exemplifies that approach. The lamp delivers ambient illumination while acting as a statement object within an interior, making it suitable for both modern and eclectic spaces. It has been carefully inspected and cleaned and is presented in good vintage condition, showing light signs of age consistent with use, while remaining fully functional and structurally sound. A distinctive example of German Space-Age design, this lamp adds character and period authenticity to curated interiors.
