Søborg Møbler ‘model 130’ teak & beech writing desk – Børge Mogensen

This free-standing writing desk, model no. 130, was designed by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbler in Denmark during the 1950s. Crafted with a teak veneered top and solid teak edges, the desk features drawer boxes and drawers also veneered in teak with solid teak handles. The frame and legs are made from solid beech, with teak feet adding a refined touch.
The desk is in very good refinished condition, with only minor signs of use on the top, including a small mark on the front left side. The legs show some dents and marks, as seen in the photos, and the insides of the drawers have some stains. Despite these imperfections, the desk remains a beautiful and functional piece, embodying timeless Danish design.
