Armchair, Denmark, circa 1955. A rare example of Danish mid century modern design, this piece pairs a renewed solid oak frame with a high quality New Zealand sheepskin seat, embodying the tactile warmth and refined craftsmanship of Scandinavian furniture. Originally produced by a Danish manufacturer and thoughtfully restored by a skilled craftsman, the chair preserves its authentic proportions while offering renewed comfort. The generous scale and expressive oak grain create a sculptural presence suited to both classic mid century interiors and contemporary spaces seeking a design led focal point. The sheepskin upholstery introduces softness and depth, enhancing its timeless character. Light age appropriate traces of use add patina without compromising structural integrity. A sophisticated and inviting seating piece that brings Nordic modern heritage to curated living spaces.
