This compelling set of three sculptural iron chairs evokes the spirit of André Dubreuil’s iconic “Spine Chair” through their tall, spiraling backrests and raw, expressive construction. Forged from solid iron rods, the chairs exhibit visible welds and naturally aged oxidation, resulting in a richly textured patina that enhances their brutalist character. Each chair is uniquely marked with “ARE” and “EZ/AL,” inscriptions likely tied to material provenance rather than authorship, suggesting small-scale or atelier-based production. Their bold silhouettes and industrial artistry make them powerful sculptural statements, ideal for both interior and outdoor environments.
