This elegant lounge chair, model 8000, was produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark during the 1960s and reflects the refined balance of comfort and craftsmanship characteristic of Danish modern design. Defined by its sculptural yet restrained form, the chair features a solid, well-proportioned construction that offers both visual lightness and excellent support. It has been carefully reupholstered in high-quality furniture wool, enhancing comfort while respecting the original lines and character of the design. The combination of the softly contoured seat, supportive backrest, and timeless materials makes this chair a versatile piece suited to both modern and classic interiors. Presented in excellent condition, it stands as a refined example of mid-century Danish seating from one of the most respected manufacturers of the period.
