This exceptional set of six Model 71 dining chairs, designed by Niels O. Møller in 1951 and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, represents an early masterpiece of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture. Each chair features a beautifully curved backrest crafted from layered moulded veneer, creating an elegant sculptural silhouette with comfortable ergonomic support. The refined solid wood frames combine organic lines, balanced proportions and exceptional Danish craftsmanship. All six chairs retain their original handwoven Danish paper cord seats, beautifully preserved with an authentic vintage patina and no reported faults. The wooden frames remain sturdy and structurally sound, displaying only minor age-related wear. Presented in very good vintage condition, this rare matching set offers timeless elegance and collectible appeal.
