This set of birch chairs from the 1930s, attributed to Sven Markelius, reflects the elegance and functionality of early Scandinavian modern design. With a form reminiscent of the iconic Alvar Aalto 611 chairs, they feature clean lines and soft, organic curves that create a timeless aesthetic. Crafted from bent birch, the chairs combine lightness with durability, while their stackable design adds practical versatility for everyday use. Each piece displays a beautiful patina, enhancing its authenticity and highlighting the craftsmanship of the period. Both functional and collectible, these chairs are a refined addition to interiors that value classic Nordic design and heritage.
