This vintage set of five Danish dining chairs, attributed to Henning Kjærnulf, combines Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship with bold Brutalist details. Crafted from solid honey-toned oak, the chairs feature high, arched backrests, sculptural front legs with distinctive carved notches and sturdy H-stretcher supports. The warm natural grain contrasts beautifully with the deep blue striped upholstery, while decorative brass nailhead trim along the seats and backrests adds a refined finishing touch. Their architectural silhouettes bring character to both contemporary and vintage-inspired dining rooms. Carefully inspected, all five chairs remain structurally firm and stable, with natural patina consistent with age. A distinctive example of Danish furniture design, combining traditional craftsmanship with expressive forms. The attribution to Henning Kjærnulf remains unconfirmed.
