These chairs, produced by Victoria Werke AG Baar from 1957 to 1980, feature a backrest with five rungs and four rounded wooden feet. The underside of the seat showcases 13 slotted screws, used to fasten the backrest and feet, along with the company logo and the signature Victoria lucky beetle. This beetle, designed by Elso Schiavo, became an iconic symbol of Victoria’s commitment to quality Swiss craftsmanship.
Victoria Werke, renowned for producing top-tier Swiss furniture from 1939 to 1998, has left an enduring legacy, with this chair being a perfect example of timeless design. These vintage chairs are ideal for a modern living room, bedroom, or study.
