A set of four Italian lounge chairs from the 1970s, these pieces embody the understated elegance and relaxed comfort associated with late modernist interiors. Defined by their clean lines and balanced proportions, the chairs reflect a design approach where simplicity and material warmth take precedence over ornament. Crafted from teak, the frames display a rich natural tone that contrasts beautifully with the soft off-white upholstery. The cone-shaped legs lend the chairs a subtle sculptural quality, while the gently reclined backrests create a relaxed seating position suited to everyday use. The cushions, upholstered in a lightly lustrous fabric, soften the angular geometry of the wooden structure and introduce a refined tactile element.
The design draws from the calm sophistication of 1970s Italian modernism, combining functional clarity with inviting comfort.
