This set of four Danish dining chairs from the 1960s-1970s combines Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship with Brutalist and Baroque-inspired details in the style of Henning Kjærnulf. Crafted from solid oak, the chairs feature beautifully pronounced wood grain, sculptural carved legs and decorative stretchers that reflect traditional Danish farmhouse influences. The original striped fabric upholstery features warm shades of orange, green and beige, complemented by decorative nailhead trim along the seat and backrest edges. The oak frames remain sturdy and structurally sound, displaying a natural patina and minor signs of age-related wear. The original upholstery is generally well preserved but shows light wear and a few small tears that should be considered. Combining rustic character with architectural elegance, this distinctive set is ideal for Scandinavian, Brutalist or eclectic dining interiors. The Henning Kjærnulf connection is stylistic rather than confirmed.
