This vintage set of four Brutalist dining chairs, manufactured by De Puydt in Belgium during the 1960s–1970s, showcases the bold craftsmanship of Belgian Mid-Century Modern furniture. Crafted entirely from solid oak, the chairs feature exceptionally tall sculptural backrests with distinctive split, paddle-shaped elements, exposed crossbars and carved plank seats with visible wooden joinery. Their architectural silhouettes, warm oak grain and rustic detailing create a striking presence around a dining table. In good vintage condition, the chairs display natural patina, surface scratches, small marks, colour variations and wear along the seats, backs and legs. All four chairs remain structurally solid and suitable for everyday use.
