Vintage Sapporo seating group designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in Italy during the 1970s. This matching set of three includes two lounge chairs and one two-seater sofa, featuring sculptural solid walnut frames and original cream textured upholstery. Broad wooden arms, rounded edges, exposed rear rails and generously padded cushions combine Brutalist-influenced architecture with the comfort of Italian modern design. The warm walnut tones contrast beautifully with the soft woven fabric. Lounge chair dimensions: 95 W × 82 D × 80 H cm. Sofa dimensions: 151 W × 87 D × 82 H cm. Seat height: 48 cm. Mobil Girgi branded. Good vintage condition with light wear to the original upholstery, scratches, scuffs, minor knocks and surface marks to the walnut frames, including more visible wear on the rear rails. Cushions retain their comfortable shape, and the seating remains structurally sound.
