This charming set of vintage design chairs was designed by Steen Østergaard in 1966 and produced by Cado in Norway in 1971. The chairs are defined by their sculptural plastic shells, which have developed a beautifully softened red tone over time, giving each piece a unique character and authentic vintage appeal. The seats have been newly upholstered in a mixed wool fabric, offering renewed comfort while complementing the bold, graphic form of the design. Balancing playful color, clean lines, and functional comfort, these chairs are a distinctive example of Scandinavian design from the late 1960s and early 1970s, ideal for dining areas, studios, or design-led interiors seeking character and originality.
