Pair of iconic “Verona” model 400 ceiling lamps designed by Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar in 1968. Inspired by the Arena di Verona, each lamp features five concentric white aluminum shades, ingeniously tilted for soft, glare-free illumination. The design cleverly conceals all joints, giving the illusion that the shades float in perfect balance. Subtle orange detailing between layers becomes visible depending on the angle, adding dynamic warmth to the design. These timeless Danish modern fixtures are in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age. A sculptural and functional lighting solution for mid-century or contemporary interiors.
