This pair of floating bedside shelves is crafted from solid pine wood and combines minimalist Scandinavian design with bold Brutalist influences. Their thick, rounded forms create a sculptural yet understated silhouette, recalling the organic furniture designs associated with Rainer Daumiller. Each wall-mounted shelf features a smoothly operating drawer, providing practical storage for bedside essentials such as books, phones and personal accessories while keeping the floor space clear. The natural pine brings warmth and texture to the design, making the shelves particularly suitable for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian and contemporary bedrooms. The pieces are unmarked and possibly of vintage IKEA production, although the manufacturer and exact period remain unconfirmed. Both shelves are preserved in very good vintage condition, as shown in the photographs. A versatile and characterful pair combining functional storage with timeless Nordic simplicity.
