Vintage set of two Sapporo lounge chairs designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in Italy during the 1970s. Featuring sculptural solid walnut frames and original cream textured upholstery, these Italian modern armchairs combine architectural elegance with generous comfort. Broad rounded wooden arms, integrated front legs and deep upholstered cushions create a distinctive organic silhouette. The original woven fabric adds warmth and texture, making this collectible pair ideal for vintage and contemporary interiors. Branded Mobil Girgi on the frames. Set of 2. Good vintage condition with light age-related wear to the original upholstery and scratches, scuffs, minor knocks and surface marks to the walnut frames, including more visible marks on the rear rails. Cushions retain their comfortable shape.
