This pair of vintage wall sconces from the 1960s combines perspex and black lacquered metal in a refined Mid Century design. The contrast between the dark metal structure and the translucent perspex creates a balanced interplay of light and material. When illuminated, the perspex diffuses light softly, producing a warm and atmospheric glow while highlighting the clean geometric form. The minimalist design reflects the modernist approach of the period, where functionality and material experimentation were key. The sconces show signs of age such as minor surface wear consistent with vintage use, while remaining fully functional and structurally sound. A versatile and visually distinctive pair suited for modern or vintage interiors.
