This rare pair of Model 615 bentwood armchairs, designed by Czech architect Radomír Hofman and produced by TON for the Czechoslovak Pavilion at Expo 1967 in Montreal, exemplifies the elegance of post-Bauhaus furniture design. Crafted from gracefully curved beechwood, the chairs feature fluid, sculptural silhouettes that combine modernist geometry with organic forms. The design was also selected for the Czechoslovak Pavilion restaurant at Expo 1970 in Osaka. Both armchairs retain their original wooden frames, displaying a beautiful warm patina, while the seats have been newly reupholstered in geometric-patterned fabric. Preserved in very good vintage condition, this limited-edition pair offers a distinctive combination of craftsmanship, historical significance and comfort. Ideal for collectors of European modernism and contemporary design interiors.
