This rare pair of armchairs was produced in Finland in the early to mid 1970s by Lepokalusto and represents an authentic example of Nordic Modern design. Crafted with solid birch wood frames and rich leather upholstery, the chairs highlight the thoughtful materiality and refined proportions characteristic of Scandinavian furniture from the period. Their sculptural yet understated geometry balances visual lightness with structural strength, while the leather seats and backs provide inviting comfort that develops a beautiful patina over time. The warm tone of the birch contrasts elegantly with the leather, creating a harmonious and timeless aesthetic. Offered in original vintage condition, the chairs show minor age appropriate wear that enhances character without affecting stability. A distinguished and versatile duo suited to living rooms, reading corners, or curated interiors seeking genuine Finnish design heritage.
