This elegant pair of wall sconces was designed in the 1960s by Lisa Johansson-Pape, one of Finland’s most influential lighting designers, and produced by ORNO. Exemplifying the clarity and restraint of Scandinavian modernism, these sconces combine refined aesthetics with highly functional design. Each features a flexible brass stem, allowing the light to be directed with precision, ideal for reading, accent lighting, or creating a warm, focused atmosphere. The understated form highlights Johansson-Pape’s mastery of proportion and material, where every element serves both visual harmony and practical purpose. The warm tone of the brass adds depth and elegance, making the sconces equally suited to mid-century interiors and contemporary spaces seeking a vintage accent. Made in Finland and offered in vintage condition consistent with age, the pair retains its original character with gentle signs of use that enhance its authenticity. A timeless and collectible lighting set that perfectly balances artistry, utility, and Nordic design heritage.
