This pair of vintage wall sconces from the 1980s combines glass block elements with black metal in a bold and architectural design. The textured glass blocks create a distinctive diffusion of light, producing a soft glow with subtle reflections and depth. The black metal frame adds contrast and structure, enhancing the geometric character of the composition. The design reflects the postmodern aesthetic of the period, where material contrast and form play a central role. The sconces show signs of age such as minor surface wear consistent with vintage use, while the glass remains intact and the structure fully functional. A striking and versatile lighting pair suited for modern and contemporary interiors.
