This rare pair of Danish Modern double bookcases, designed by Poul Hundevad for Hundevad & Co. in the 1960s, showcases exceptional Scandinavian craftsmanship. Crafted in richly figured rosewood, each unit features beautiful grain patterns across its exterior, interior and shelves. The slim, architectural design offers twelve spacious compartments, divided by a central support, with adjustable shelving and two fixed shelves for stability. Ideal for displaying books, vinyl records and decorative objects, the bookcases combine generous storage with timeless Mid-Century Modern elegance. Both pieces have been carefully restored and remain in excellent vintage condition, structurally firm with minor age-related patina. Optional solid rosewood legs, inspired by 1970s designs, can be added using reversible screw-on fittings.
