This sculptural pair of Danish oak armchairs combines bold Brutalist design with Baroque-inspired details in the style of Henning Kjærnulf. Featuring distinctive throne-like silhouettes, the chairs are crafted from light oak with beautifully pronounced grain and a warm natural patina developed over time. Their architectural frames create a striking presence while retaining the refined craftsmanship associated with Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture. The armrests measure 69 cm from the floor, offering comfortable proportions and a commanding appearance. Both chairs remain in excellent original structural condition, with no defects, loose joints or stability issues. The original upholstery is also preserved in very good vintage condition, making the pair ready for immediate use. Ideal for a living room, study or eclectic interior, these distinctive armchairs offer timeless Nordic character. The Henning Kjærnulf connection is stylistic rather than confirmed.
