Exceptional pair of crystal table lamps model RD 1477 designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors and produced in Sweden during the 1970s. The lamps feature elegant elongated teardrop shaped bases crafted from solid crystal, showcasing the refined clarity and craftsmanship associated with Swedish glassmaking. The minimalist sculptural form allows the brilliance of the crystal to take center stage, creating a sophisticated interplay of reflection and light. Carl Fagerlund, celebrated for his work with Orrefors, became known for transforming crystal into timeless lighting objects that balance purity of form with functional elegance. These lamps exemplify that philosophy through their restrained design and luminous material presence. Signed examples remain highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. A refined pair of Scandinavian lighting pieces that integrate beautifully into both modern and classic interiors.
