Charming set of German side chairs produced during the 1950s, featuring distinctive bobbin turned wooden frames paired with traditional woven rush seats. The sculptural turned legs and stretchers highlight the craftsmanship of the period, creating a rhythmic decorative structure that adds character while maintaining a balanced silhouette. The natural rush seats introduce warmth and texture, offering both comfort and durability while reinforcing the rustic appeal of the design. The combination of solid wood construction and handwoven seating reflects traditional European furniture making techniques. Versatile in function, the chairs work well as dining chairs, accent seating, or decorative pieces within interiors that embrace country, rustic, or vintage aesthetics. A beautifully crafted set that blends artisanal detail with timeless mid twentieth century European design.
