Distinctives Ballet pendants lamps designed by Lars Schiøler for P.J. Høyrup A/S in Denmark during the 1970s. The sculptural shade is constructed from interlocking folded brown and white PVC slats, creating an expressive floral form characteristic of experimental Scandinavian lighting of the period. Its open structure allows light to filter through the overlapping elements, producing a soft atmospheric glow and subtle patterns of light and shadow. Due to the fragile nature of the material, well-preserved original examples are increasingly difficult to find. Presented in good vintage condition with light age-related wear, the lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected, with wiring renewed where necessary and a new white textile cord fitted. Dimensions: H 40 × Ø 35 cm.
