An authentic B34 chair designed by Marcel Breuer, a true Bauhaus icon from the 1920s, preserved in its original condition. This early version exemplifies Breuer’s revolutionary use of tubular steel, inspired by bicycle construction, paired here with wooden seat and backrest elements that showcase beautiful, time-worn patina. The chair’s honest wear tells its story, owned and cared for by two carpenters, the last for over 50 years, making it a rare survivor of early modernist craftsmanship. With its pure geometry and functional design, the B34 perfectly captures the Bauhaus ideal: simplicity, utility, and industrial beauty. A historically significant collector’s piece that bridges design innovation and lived history.
