This rare pair of 1920s–1930s armchairs showcases early twentieth century craftsmanship through richly carved teak frames and durable leather upholstery, professionally reupholstered to ensure lasting comfort while respecting the original character. Inspired by classical European furniture traditions associated with makers such as Georges Jacob, the chairs balance sculptural woodwork with practical seating. Expressive carved armrests, turned legs, and generous proportions reflect a period when furniture combined artistry with everyday function. The warm patina of the teak enhances the depth of the carving, while the leather adds tactile contrast and refinement. Suitable for heritage interiors as well as curated contemporary spaces, this distinguished duo offers historical presence, structural integrity, and timeless decorative appeal for collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
