A rare Selene executive desk by ORA Acciaio, produced in Italy during the 1970s as part of the manufacturer’s celebrated Selene office furniture series. The large rectangular wood veneer top appears to float above a slender metal framework, while two suspended drawer units provide five practical drawers. Richly figured veneer contrasts with the precise linear structure, giving the desk a refined architectural and Modernist character. The reverse is fully finished in carefully matched veneer, allowing it to be positioned freely within an office or interior. This authentic example retains its original ORA Acciaio Roma-Pomezia manufacturer’s label, while the Selene series is documented in period catalogues and advertising. Presented in good vintage condition with age-related wear and traces of use. Keys are no longer available. Dimensions: W 191 × D 91 × H 76 cm.
