This swivel chair dates to the 1970s, a decade when Scandinavian design evolved toward more expressive, flexible, and comfort-oriented forms while maintaining its characteristic clarity and purpose. Reflecting this shift, the chair combines upholstered seating with a rotating base, prioritizing usability and adaptability within a clean and restrained silhouette. Its compact yet comfortable proportions make it well suited for workspaces, lounges, or reading areas, capturing the practical spirit of 1970s Nordic interiors. The design balances everyday functionality with understated modern aesthetics, allowing it to integrate easily into a wide range of settings. Offered in good vintage condition, the chair shows age-appropriate wear consistent with use, while remaining structurally stable and fully functional. The swivel mechanism operates smoothly. An authentic example of 1970s modern seating, this chair offers versatility, comfort, and quiet Scandinavian style.
