A charming Scandinavian Rustic Folk Art dining table, handcrafted from solid stained pine in Sweden during the early 20th century. Featuring a substantial rectangular tabletop supported by a traditional trestle base with shaped supports and hand-carved details, this table beautifully reflects the honest craftsmanship and timeless simplicity of Swedish country furniture. Its richly worn dark-stained finish reveals the warm pine beneath, creating a remarkable natural patina developed over decades of use. Subtle traces of original painted decoration in muted green and red add authentic Folk Art character and celebrate its handcrafted heritage. Robust yet elegant, this versatile table works beautifully as a dining table, farmhouse table, centre table or statement piece in Wabi Sabi, Scandinavian, Rustic and Country interiors. Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear, paint loss and authentic patina that enhance its unique history. Dimensions: H 77 × W 149 × D 83.5 cm. Clearance to underside: 64.5 cm.
