The Scandinavian Modern “Narcissus” floor lamp, crafted in Sweden in the 1940s, is a refined example of early Nordic design. Its gracefully curved wooden arc creates a soft architectural line, culminating in a delicate, daffodil-like lampshade that gives the piece its poetic name. The composition is elegant yet restrained, reflecting the simplicity and craftsmanship central to Scandinavian design values. The warm wood structure highlights natural materiality, while the sculptural shade provides gentle, atmospheric light. Both functional and decorative, this lamp serves as a striking statement piece in interiors inspired by Scandinavian vintage, mid-century, or minimalist aesthetics. An authentic piece of Nordic heritage, the “Narcissus” lamp brings history, character, and timeless elegance into any living space.
