This elegant Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern armchair from the 1950s-1960s, likely of Norwegian origin, reflects the refined craftsmanship and organic forms associated with Nordic furniture design. The beautifully shaped wooden frame features slender tapered legs and gracefully curved teak armrests that flow seamlessly from the low backrest, creating a light, sculptural silhouette with clear Danish design influences. Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile as an accent chair in a living room, hallway or bedroom. Despite its delicate appearance, the chair remains structurally firm and stable, with a well-preserved wooden frame and original springs in good condition. The existing upholstery requires replacement, although no additional structural restoration is necessary. The wood retains an attractive natural patina consistent with its age, and the chair is otherwise in very good vintage condition. Professional reupholstery services are available upon request, allowing the next owner to personalize this timeless example of Scandinavian craftsmanship.
