Vintage Sapporo two-seater sofa designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in Italy during the 1970s. Featuring a sculptural walnut frame and original cream-beige textured upholstery, this Italian modern sofa combines organic forms with architectural elegance. Broad rounded wooden side panels, an exposed curved rear rail and six generously padded loose cushions create the distinctive Sapporo silhouette. Its compact proportions make it ideal for contemporary and vintage interiors. Stamped “Mobil Girgi” on the inner frame. Good vintage condition with gentle wear and slight softening to the original cushions. The walnut frame shows scratches, small dents, scuffs and surface marks, particularly on the legs and rear rail. Structurally sound.
