A striking large round Brutalist coffee or sofa table by Lisbeth Sallingboe for Sallingboe, Denmark, 1970s. Crafted in solid pine with handmade ceramic tile inlays and visible dowel joinery, this sculptural piece reflects the strength and warmth of Scandinavian Brutalist design. The natural pine shows a rich patina, pairing beautifully with the earthy ceramic surface. Generously proportioned, it serves as both a functional table and a bold statement piece, embodying the Scandinavian ethos of simplicity, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty. A versatile vintage table that complements modern, Scandinavian, classic, antique, or Art Deco interiors.
Scandinavian design is characterized by a minimal, clean approach that seeks to combine functionality with beauty. Its focus is on simple lines and light spaces.
