A rare set of rosewood nesting tables designed by Severin Hansen Jr. for Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in Denmark during the 1960s. The set comprises one larger console-height table and two smaller tables that slide neatly beneath it, offering versatile use as side, occasional or coffee tables. Hansen’s signature mitred corner construction creates continuous grain lines flowing from the tabletops into the slender legs, highlighting the precision of Danish cabinetmaking. Crafted in richly figured Brazilian rosewood veneer and solid rosewood, the tables display deep chocolate tones and dramatic dark figuring. The original Danish Furnituremakers’ Control badge and Haslev label remain present, confirming authenticity. Professionally refinished and presented in excellent vintage condition.
