An elegant Danish magazine side table dating from the 1960s, combining practical storage with the restrained geometry of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design. A square, bookmatched rosewood tabletop appears to float within a solid rosewood frame, showcasing warm reddish-brown tones and dramatic dark figuring. Beneath, the original woven canvas magazine sling hangs between the rails, secured by turned rosewood pegs and matching canvas loops, providing generous storage for magazines, newspapers or books. Four slender square legs and precisely executed joinery create a light architectural silhouette, while the curved textile sling introduces a softer contrast to the geometric construction. Presented in very good vintage condition, the rosewood has been cleaned and freshly oiled, while the original canvas remains clean and fully intact.
