This elegant RH 201 armchair, designed by Swiss architect and designer Robert Haussmann in the late 1950s and produced by De Sede, exemplifies the architectural precision of Mid-Century Modern furniture. Distinguished by its cubic silhouette, sharp edges and clean geometric lines, the chair combines sophisticated aesthetics with exceptional craftsmanship. Upholstered in supple dark brown leather, the generously proportioned seat and backrest rest on a sturdy frame crafted from chrome-plated flat steel. The contrast between the rich leather and polished metal creates a timeless appearance that complements modern and minimalist interiors. Both the leather upholstery and chrome frame are exceptionally well preserved, with no visible tarnishing or damage. A collectible Swiss design classic offering enduring elegance and comfort.
