Designed in the late 1960s by Raak’s celebrated in-house team, the B-1198 pendant is a crisp example of Dutch modern lighting with a quietly architectural presence. Crafted from aluminium, it features a sleek cylindrical form with a refined black powder-coated ring detail at its center, an elegant, graphic accent that feels both minimalist and distinctly of its era. Made in the Netherlands, this piece reflects Raak’s reputation for forward-thinking design: clean lines, precision, and a timeless silhouette that works effortlessly in mid-century, modern, or industrial interiors.
Ideal as a statement light in a living room or hallway, it also shines when installed in multiples, hung in a strict row or in a more playful cluster above a dining table, reception desk, or hospitality setting. Offered in vintage condition, it shows light, age-appropriate wear that adds character while preserving the lamp’s sharp, sophisticated look.
