A unique primitive stump chair hand-carved by the Naga tribe in India, ca. 1970s. Crafted from a single solid piece of hardwood, this authentic tribal armchair embodies raw craftsmanship and organic beauty. Its irregular form and natural surface wear highlight the Wabi Sabi philosophy, celebrating imperfection, impermanence, and authenticity. Rich in character and history, the chair shows a warm patina and age marks that add depth to its sculptural presence. A one-of-a-kind piece in good vintage condition, it fits seamlessly into Antique, Wabi Sabi, Scandinavian, or Art Deco interiors as both a functional seat and a statement object.
