The PK24 Lounge Chair by Poul Kjærholm for Fritz Hansen is an iconic expression of Danish modern design, created in 1965. Inspired by the elegance of the French chaise longue and reinterpreted through Kjærholm’s minimalist vision, the chair features a sculptural curved steel frame that appears to float effortlessly. Its gravity based construction allows the seat to rest freely within the frame, offering both visual lightness and exceptional comfort. Crafted with meticulous attention to proportion and materiality, the PK24 reflects Kjærholm’s mastery of combining industrial steel with refined craftsmanship. Produced by Fritz Hansen, this lounge chair remains a timeless collector’s piece, ideal for sophisticated contemporary interiors and design focused spaces.
