This mid-century modern pendant light by Peill & Putzler exemplifies the refined glass craftsmanship associated with German lighting design of the period. Produced in Germany during the mid-20th century, the lamp features a sculptural shade in orange glass, paired with chrome detailing that enhances its clean, modern profile. The vibrant glass recalls Murano-inspired techniques while remaining firmly rooted in the industrial precision for which Peill & Putzler became known. When illuminated, the glass emits a warm, atmospheric glow, making the pendant both a functional light source and a decorative focal point. The balanced proportions and restrained use of metal reflect the enduring appeal of mid-century modern aesthetics. The pendant remains in good vintage condition, with light signs of age consistent with its era. The glass and metal elements are well preserved, retaining their original character and finish. Ideal for dining areas, entryways, or living spaces, this pendant offers a timeless expression of European mid-century lighting design.
